Here in the Keys, we are more than likely to see a lot of tropical paradise themes, but you can add in bits and pieces of other themes as well to make it unique. Some details of themes below.

Georgia and David decided on This private resort as their destination wedding in paradise surrounded by 80 friends and family there to witness this magical day.

Right at the water’s edge on the sand beach surrounded by lush greenery was a circle arbor decorated with peach and white rose sprays. Lined up on each side of the aisle were bamboo chairs. As the ceremony began the couple performed the sand ceremony.

A furry friend was joined in the ceremony and most likely made a cute impression on guests. The details were absolute perfection in every aspect of the ceremony and reception.

After the ceremony guest were able to see where they would be seating from the champagne wall. The circle tables with farmhouse ones mixed in were topped with Ivory lanterns and cylinder vases. Peach napkins resting under the bamboo chargers tied in the ceremony to the reception perfectly.

The unique wedding cake doubled as a small cake topped on a tower of cupcakes in different flavors, accommodating guests.

The night was enjoyed by dancing with DJ Russ and heartfelt speeches by family and guest. A vintage camper was set up for pictures. All this was captured by Jannette De Llanos wedding photography who’s able to really show the emotions in the moment capturing every detail. The couple chose our Everglades (decor only) package.

The setting: Nestled on the southernmost tip of the United States, Key West boasts an array of stunning beaches that draw visitors from all over the world. Smathers Beach, with its powdery white sands, crystal clear turquoise waters, and swaying palm trees embodies the tropical paradise perfect for the ceremony of your dreams.

The Details: Every detail of the wedding showed the was well thought out and showed their personalities and journey. The palette was the perfect touch to a classy beach wedding. The bamboo arbor and chairs put everything together.

Celina and Xavior met on Smathers Beach and chose our Driftwood package including the sand ceremony, combing the two colored sand into one.

Surrounded by family and friends the couple said their vows and captured many beautiful moments with their guests. Even the ones not present were included and honored in such a loving way.

Historic Wedding Venue

Fort Zachary Taylor is a historic military fort located in Key West. It was named after the President Zachary Taylor and construction began in 1845. The fort played a significant role during the American Civil War and Spanish-American War. It served as a base for the Union troops and played a crucial role in maintaining the Union’s blockade of Confederate ports during the Civil War.

Throughout its history, Fort Zachary Taylor underwent several expansions and modifications. The fort’s strategic location at the entrance of Key Wests harbor made it an essential defense point for the United States. Over time, its importance as a costal defense declined, and it was used for various purposes, including a military prison and a quarantine station.

In the 20th century, the fort was largely inactive, but it was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1973. Today, the fort is a state park a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors a chance to explore the well-preserved fort, learn about its historical significance, and enjoy the beautiful beaches and recreational activities in the area.

In this case used as the backdrop for nuptials. Amanda and Thomas used the beach for their vows and ceremony and the actual fort for their memorable historic wedding photos. So much beauty and history in this location. Below are some highlights of the day.

Renewing your vows varies between couples but most commonly you choose a milestone anniversary such as 10 or 20 years. Then you celebrate surviving as a team and having gratitude for all the adventures you’ve been through together and the ones yet to come.

Also, having family come together to celebrate love and commitment is a beautiful time. Who wouldn’t want to renew vows?

December 6th, 2022

Islamorada, Fl

Its December and the weather is perfect. Getting ready in the bridal suite that’s absolutely stunning located at the Islamorada Fish Company is Trisha and close family.

Waiting impatiently down on the sand is Gary ready to see his bride to be. The first look really showed the love and excitement from the couple.

Surrounded by family and friends the couple said their vows as the sun was setting. Grabbing those drinks and toasting to forever the couple took some stunning photos around the property before enjoying dinner and all the nightly festivities.

Islamorada fish company is located on the bayside in Islamorada with the perfect backdrop of the sunset.

Below are highlights of the day.

Erica & Michael

Just 45 minutes from Key West lies Bahia Honda State Park. One of the most beautiful beaches known in the keys. In the distance you can see the 100 year old bridge, a remnant of Henry Flagler’s Overseas Railway unlike any other bridge you’ll find in the keys.

The Bahia Honda bridge was the hardest of all bridges to build in Flagler’s railroad in 1912, more difficult than the longer Seven Mile Bridge because the channel here is the deepest in the Keys. The tides are strong and would be higher during a storm, it was built taller than the other bridges. For additional strength, it is a trestle-style bridge, the only one like it in the Keys.

When the hurricane of 1935 forced the closure of the railroad, the bridge was revamped for cars. The lower level, which the trains had used, was too narrow for two lanes of cars, so they built the road on the top level which was used till 1972.

Current day a section of the bridge has been removed on both ends, and there is a trail that leads to a panoramic view of the old bridge and entire area around.

That all being said this location is a beautiful area to host your wedding. With the white sand beach to the historic bridge backdrop you cant get much better than that in paradise.

On March, 13th Erica and Michael met on the beach amongst family and friends. The couple chose our Seven Mile Package. The ceremony was picture perfect followed by the most unique photos at sunset with the historic bridge as a backdrop. They will forever have a piece of history in their wedding album.
