First off, we have two sides of this long chain of Islands. The Ocean side and the bay side. You can ask any local and they will be sure to tell you the absolute best sunset can be seen on the bay side of the island.

Time of Year

Sunsets happen earlier in the winter and later in the summer. January sunsets range from 5:50 to 6:15 p.m., by mid-February the sun sets a little later. After March when daylight saving time begins it hits 7:30pm. April begins with sunsets around 7:45 p.m. hitting 8 p.m. by the end of the month and staying between 8 and 8:30 p.m. until the middle of August. After that it slowly goes backwards and around mid-October it hits 7pm. When daylight time shifts again, in November, the sunset goes all the way back to 5:45 p.m. Throughout December, it hits between about 5:30 and 5:45 p.m.

Largo Resort, the very sought out, secluded oasis located in Key Largo on the bayside. Has the most unique built-in wedding arbor that makes for the most stunning sunset pictures. The secluded sanctuary has 6 bungalows & 1 Grand Lodge for all your family and friends.

Islamorada Fish Company, located in Islamorada on the bayside for that perfect sunset. They have a private bridal suite on property and its decorated so elegantly. They have options for indoor and outdoor reception which makes for the perfect Plan B in case of rain.

We also have some ceremony only locations including Rowells Park which is located on the bayside in Key Largo.
