Tips for planning your Florida Keys Beach Wedding!
A beach wedding in the Florida Keys is a naturally breathtaking, romantic venue for your exchanging of vows.
The Florida Keys consist of over 800 keys stretching over 180 miles! Key Largo is the first, and largest island in the Keys coming in at 32 miles long! Did you know that Key West is the most populated city in the Keys & is the southern most city in the continental USA? It is actually closer to Havana, Cuba than to Miami, Florida!
The Florida Keys tropical weather year round makes for a wonderful place for a beautiful beach wedding any time of year! Early spring to mid-summer are typically the most popular wedding seasons. However, mid- to late fall are also very popular. Some hotels may have slightly lower rates during late summer/early fall as that is considered “off season” so this could result in some flexibility in your wedding budget.
As with anywhere, the weather does not always cooperate how we want it to. Renting a tent as a backup is one way to make sure the weather does not ruin your big day! After all, rain on your wedding day is good luck! Additionally, some of our venues include a tiki hut & those are a great alternative to a tent, too!
We have many recommendations on the best beaches to have your Florida Keys beach wedding! Our Ceremony Packages can be done anywhere from Key Largo to Key West! You can see our recommendations on those locations here! The All-Inclusive packages can be done anywhere from Key Largo to Marathon! The Florida Keys are famous for diving, snorkeling, fishing, and ton of other things! So if you’re thinking of activities for your guest who are vacationing for your wedding, fear not!
